Villa Monziani is a historic residence located on the enchanting Isola San Giulio, on Lake Orta. One of the few villas available for rent on the island, it is an oasis of tranquility and history. With 5 bedrooms accommodating up to 10 guests and 4 bathrooms, the villa combines modern comfort with preserved historical charm, featuring original terracotta floors, frescoes, and exposed beams.
The house is spread across multiple levels:

• Ground floor: hosts the modern, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with frescoes and a large stone fireplace, a guest bathroom, and direct access to the garden. A double bedroom with a private bathroom is also located on this floor.
• First floor: includes the living room and master bedroom, offering spacious comfort.
• Upper floors: include a bedroom with two single beds and a private bathroom, an attic with a private bathroom and a small lounge, and a bedroom with a sofa bed and a private balcony.

The garden is another highlight of the villa: a private boathouse provides direct access to the lake, perfect for swimming, canoeing, or SUP. A boat can also be rented separately to explore the lake and its picturesque towns. A pergola covered with grapevines and a stone table creates the perfect spot for outdoor dining.
The villa guarantees an exclusive and peaceful stay, with the unique privilege of experiencing the island after sunset, when the ferries stop running and only the lucky few who stay overnight remain.

The villa also includes access to a small private apartment located on the top floor, owned by other family members. This apartment is independent and not part of the rental property. Access is via the main staircase, which is shared. The relatives visit the lake only occasionally, and guests will always be notified in advance of their arrival. 
Despite this arrangement, the villa ensures guests’ privacy and a peaceful atmosphere throughout their stay.
